LAHORE: Parliamentary Leader Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab Syed Hassan Murtaza has said that NAB is trying to prove Usman Buzdar as a liquor seller instead of holding him accountable for mega corruption and misuse of authority, adding Usman Bazdar, despite being a puppet, the most corrupt Chief Minister, but the allegation of selling alcohol is reprehensible.
The PPP leader has said in his statement that if the Punjab Chief Minister has to be held accountable for committing robberies of trillions of rupees, then hold him accountable. Is it not corruption in the eyes of NAB to subsidize sugar mills and make wheat disappear? He questioned.
Hassan Murtaza maintained today NAB has accused him of selling liquor, tomorrow it would accuse him of selling drugs and opium, he blamed Usman Bazdar’s real crimes are different but he is not being held accountable for those crimes.
He said that Buzdar gave five hundred and eighty billion rupees of Punjab to Niazi. By giving up the people’s right to rule, Bazdar made Punjab a colony of Bani Gala, he deplored. If the NAB wants to be held accountable, it should do so on the real corruption of Niazi and Bazdar, he demanded.
Buzdar, along with the sugar and flour mafia, looted trillions of rupees from the national treasury and the pockets of the people, he alleged. If the NAB wants to be held accountable, it should do so on the real corruption of Niazi and Bazdar, he added.
PPP leader says that Buzdar is a puppet, he does whatever he does on Imran Khan’s orders, if Buzdar has issued a liquor license, then Imran Khan’s consent will be involved; It has been proved that Usman Buzdar gave sugar subsidy on the orders of Niazi, if NAB summons Niazi before summoning Usman Bazdar, everything will be crystal clear.
