Lahore: Pakistan Peoples Party parliamentary leader Syed Hassan Murtaza, during the discussion on supplementary budget, came down hard on the PTI-led government. He said that 50 per cent of the population of Punjab voted for the opposition and thus they too should be given development funds.
He said the government’s priorities are to spend amounts on construction of officer’s clubs and wall of the graveyards rather than introducing schemes for poor masses. This government had several problems over the development projects and road infrastructure of the previous regimes but it is unable to do anything for poor masses.
He wondered that no funds had been allocated even for the constituency of the communication and works minister.
